What’s New in Doran Font Version3

The most important highlight of this release is the support for the Armenian language, with the Armenian characters designed by Ehsan (Daniel) Roudi.

1.You can now write in Armenian with Doran.

2.Custom symbols for Saudi Riyal, and Dirham were designed.

3.With Stylistic Set 4 activated, vertical alignment of punctuation marks like ؟ ! ٪ ؍ ٬ ٫ / \ ⁄ ' # () {} [] | ¦ is harmonized with the letters.

4.Thickness and positioning of Underline and Strikethrough lines have been adjusted.

5.By enabling salt (stylistic alternates), the form of “ی” and “‍ه‍” changes.

6.The alternate form of the “ک م” has been moved to swash.

7.Fixed the misplacement of dots in ligatures containing “ێ”.

8.Fix for display issues with symbols (+¦∞) in the Black weight

9.Fixed the diacritic issue with “لله” and “الله.” Now, only the final letter “ـه” takes the diacritic.

 

10.Kerning for Arabic and Persian numerals has been removed due to platform inconsistencies and rendering issues.
