The YekanBakh font features 8 weights (Thin, Light, Regular, SemiBold, Bold, ExtraBold, Black, ExtraBlack) and 7 width levels (ExtraCondensed, Condensed, SemiCondensed, Normal, SemiExpanded, Expanded, ExtraExpanded), along with a variable version.


Extensive World Language Coverage
The font now supports 60 languages (19 under Arabic script and 41 under Latin script) and is usable in 95 countries (40 countries with Arabic script, 50 countries + 5 autonomous regions with Latin script).

YekanBakh supports 17 currencies and is usable in 75 countries.

By activating Stylistic Set 6, you can enable the exclusive symbols for Rial and Toman.


By activating Stylistic Set 7, you can adjust the vertical alignment of numbers and currency symbols.

Font Features for Latin Numbers



In the redesign process of the Yekan font, the following actions were taken:
- The font weights were expanded from 2 to 8, and 6 width levels were designed, totaling 56 fonts.
- Exclusive design and completion of characters for 40 languages with Latin script and 20 languages with Arabic script.
- Exclusive design of 17 common currency symbols.
- Design and completion of various punctuation and mathematical symbols.
- Changes were made to harmonize the form, thickness, and size of characters relative to each other.
- Review and adjustment of spacing between joined and separate letters, as well as kerning.
- Overall shape changes for some letters were made, such as: د, ه, ه, ه.
- Design of swashed “ک” and an inverted “ی”.
- New design for the form of dots.
- Review of the form, thickness, and size of diacritics and adjustment of their positions.
- The bowl of ‘ع’ and ‘ح’ was reduced, and the lower baseline was shortened to ensure compatibility with user interface space.
