Hafez
A font that greets the contemporary world from the heart of tradition.
The Hafez font was inspired by two magnificent pillars of Iranian calligraphy, Nastaliq and Naskh. In designing this font, an effort has been made to preserve the originality and spirit of classical lines, while blending the readability and order of Naskh with the elegance and poetic flow of Nastaliq; a combination that ultimately resulted in the creation of a font that combines the beauty of tradition with modern applications.
One of the striking features of this font is the specific and precise placement of the Nastaliq forms on the Kursi line; a move that has allowed the structure of this font to remain beautiful, coherent, and balanced. "Hafez" is not only visually pleasing, but also functional and flexible.
The Hafez font has a wide range of applications: from cultural and artistic projects to literary, philosophical, and media works with themes of old Tehran, tradition, wisdom, and dignity. This font can well convey a sense of authenticity, wisdom, and history while remaining up-to-date for both digital and print environments.
Hafez is not just a typeface, but a bridge between our golden past and our fast-paced present.
