Update October 25, 2025

The Malek typeface was designed with the goal of bridging the authenticity of traditional Iranian calligraphy and the needs of contemporary graphic design.

The concept and design process of this typeface were developed and completed during the Type Therapy course by Master Moslem Ebrahimi.

Malek’s structure blends the geometric discipline of Naskh with the grace and fluidity of Nastaliq, creating a deliberate balance between tradition and modernity. The interplay of curved forms and angular breaks gives the typeface an authentic, dynamic, and contemporary character.

Malek is an ideal choice for titles, poster headlines, book covers, and visual identity projects with a distinctly traditional spirit. Despite its simplicity, it reflects the grandeur and elegance of Persian calligraphy in a modern form—an effort to revive timeless beauty within today’s visual language.
