Azar
The Azar typeface is inspired by the movements of Thuluth calligraphy but features a distinct appearance and proportions to make it suitable as a digital font. Designed with an elegant look ideal for book and newspaper titles, Azar font simultaneously preserves classical roots and embraces a refined, modern aesthetic.
The aesthetics and unique characteristics of the letters in the Azar font are crafted to align with modern design structures and font production standards. The proportions and guidelines for all characters have been reviewed and refined. While maintaining the original essence, new characters have been added to the set.
During the software development process, all characters were edited and reconstructed, ensuring the font’s original personality remains intact.
Maintaining legibility, along with providing a fresh reading experience, free from conventional typography frameworks, has been the central focus of the efforts in designing the Azar font.
