Peyda
Standard weights
Peyda has 10 standard weights in its professional package, from thin to ExtraBlack, which are intended for various applications - from the printing industry to virtual spaces. The Peyda font family has also been optimized for use in web spaces, and the required files have been placed alongside the main files.
Variable font
Peyda font - in its fourth version - is presented as a Variable font, which in addition to providing access to intermediate weights between standard weights, makes all weights available in the form of a single font file.
Support for English, Arabic, Kurdish and Urdu languages
The Peda typeface is designed for Persian/Arabic and Latin and supports Kurdish and Urdu languages.
Alternative letters and combinations
To create variety in writing style and readability, alternatives for some letters and also some binary alternative combinations have been specified.
In the "Peda" font, alternate letters have been designed for the letters "ي", "ئ" and "ي". These alternate letters are in the Stylistic Alternates category, which are also available as a Stylistic Set (Set01).
Also, the stretched (alternative) form of the letters "ک" and "گ" is in the Swash category.
Alternative two-letter combinations ending in "ی", "ر" and "ن" are available as Discretionary Ligatures.
